EPISODE 1420: Lee Ann Wong

This week on Simply Ming, Ming is On the Road in Hawaii! His third stop finds in Honolulu with all-star chef Lee Anne Wong. Born and raised in Troy, New York Chef Lee Anne Wong received her culinary degree from The French Culinary Institute. Upon graduating, she jumped into the restaurant world working first at Marcus Samuelsson’s Aquavit and later served as an integral part of the opening staff at Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Restaurant 66. Not only has she cooked in kitchens all over the world including The French Laundry, Charlie Trotter’s of Chicago, Nobu, and more, but she was a fan favorite and placed fourth in season one of Bravo’s series Top Chef. Together Ming and Lee Anne make Lee Anne’s Lilioquoi Love cocktail, Eggs Haloa and Bread Fruit Fried Rice with Fried Egg and Crispy Spam.
